Scouting Builds Ethics and Character. As youth, Scouts are taught to live by a code of conduct exemplified in the 12 points of the Scout Law, and they continue to live by these laws in adulthood.

A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent.

Uniform and Insignia of
Cub Scouts

The uniform helps your Cub Scout to understand that he is part of something bigger than himself and helps him to be proud of what he is doing. It also teaches responsibility by encouraging your Scout to properly wear this important clothing. Displaying the rank badges on the uniform encourages persistence in working toward a goal.

The blue uniform is the uniform of Cub Scouts up to the rank of Bear Cub (usually 3rd grade). It is optional for 4th grade Webelos (4th and 5th grade Scouts). After they outgrow their uniform and are a Webelos, they should replace it with the tan uniform.

Uniforms can be obtained at the Scout Shop located in the Central Georgia Council Service Center at 4335 Confederate Way, Macon, GA.
